يستكشف العمل الغياب والحضور والفقدان، حيث تتفاعل المادة مع الضوء والظل لتكشف عن طبقات خفية وتجارب مختبئة. النار والشفافية تعملان معًا لتبرز التناقض بين الاختفاء والظهور، وتعيد صياغة الحكايات والذكريات بطريقة بصرية متجددة. خلال هذا المسار، تتداخل الذكريات العائلية، حضور الأم والأب، مع الأرض والزمان، لتصبح دورة الاختفاء والظهور مساحة لرؤية الفقدان ليس كفراغ نهائي، بل كجزء حي من التجربة، يتحرك ويتشكل مع كل ضوء وظل، ليصبح الغياب حاضرًا بطرق جديدة ومتجددة.
The work explores absence, presence, and loss, as the material interacts with light and shadow to reveal hidden layers and concealed experiences. Fire and transparency highlight the tension between disappearance and emergence, reshaping memories and stories visually. Along this journey, family memories the presence of mother and fatherintertwine with land and time, turning the cycle of disappearance and emergence into a space where loss is not a final void, but a living part of experience, moving and transforming with every light and shadow, making absence present in new and renewed ways

Slow Burn was a group exhibition curated by Danielle Makhoul at Beirut Art Center, bringing together emerging artists from Lebanon and the wider region around the elemental and metaphorical possibilities of fire. The exhibition shifted its focus from finished artworks toward artistic processes, experimentation, adaptation, and collaboration, responding to the instability and ongoing crises of the region. Rather than treating fire as its subject, the exhibition explored its latent qualities—energy, heat, pressure, resistance, and transformation—and created a space where these forces could emerge through different material and intimate practices.

هو معرض جماعي قيّمته دانيال مخّول في مركز بيروت للفن، جمع فنانين ناشئين من لبنان والمنطقة لاستكشاف الإمكانات المادية والمجازية المتعددة للنار. انتقل المعرض من التركيز على الأعمال المكتملة إلى التركيز على العملية الفنية، والتجريب، والتكيّف، والتعاون، استجابةً لحالة عدم الاستقرار والأزمات المستمرة في المنطقة. وبدلًا من التعامل مع النار كموضوع مباشر، استكشف المعرض خصائصها الكامنة—الطاقة، والحرارة، والضغط، والمقاومة، والتحوّل—وخلق مساحة ظهرت فيها هذه القوى من خلال ممارسات مادية وحميمة ومتنوعة.
